Honb'le H.C. solves its own water problem suo motto. ORDERS in its favour. What about comn man water problem ??

As many of you know there is acute water shortage in many parts of India. Farmer suicides, poor sanitation, disease, lack of hygiene, poor yields, etc etc are all caused by water shortages. Some southern states are in loggerheads fighting for water....

while things are so ...., the Madurai Bench of the Madras HC has suo motto taken up the case of water shortage in its own premises and passed orders, directing the municipality to provide itself ... the H.C. , eight more loads of water !!!

Novel isn't it ??

NOW ... DON'T ask me WHO SOLVES THE PEOPLE'S PROBLEMS !!!

1. The judges housing, lawyers chambers, the Honbl'e High court premises etc are supplied water my the local Madurai municipality

2. the court officers had petitioned / written to the municipality seeking more water

3. currently three lorries are only being supplied

4. the court and housing are asking for eight lorries

5. municipality has NOT replied

6. so the court took it up as a case suo motto and passed orders in favour of the court and ordered the municipality to supply 8 lorries every day and also update the status every 3 days

7. next inquiry fixed for next week ..17th july

ஐகோர்ட்டில் தண்ணீர் பற்றாக்குறை தானாக முன்வந்து உத்தரவு

மதுரை:மதுரை ஐகோர்ட் கிளையில் நிலவும் தண்ணீர் பற்றாக்குறையை, தானாக முன்வந்து, வழக்காக விசாரணைக்கு ஏற்ற நீதிபதிகள், "மாநகராட்சி சார்பில் தினமும் 8 லோடு தண்ணீர் வினியோகிக்க வேண்டும்,' என, உத்தரவிட்டனர்.

ஐகோர்ட் கிளை நீதிபதிகள் என்.பால்வசந்தகுமார், பி.தேவதாஸ் பெஞ்ச் முன், பதிவாளர் தாக்கல் செய்த மனு:மதுரை மாநகராட்சி மூலம், தினமும் 2 அல்லது 3 லாரிகளில், ஐகோர்ட்டிற்கு தண்ணீர் வினியோகிக்கின்றனர். கோர்ட் வளாகம், நீதிபதிகள் குடியிருப்பு, வக்கீல்கள் சேம்பரில் தண்ணீர் பற்றாக்குறை நிலவுகிறது. 

தினமும் 8 லாரிகளில் தண்ணீர் வினியோகிக்க மாநகராட்சி கமிஷனருக்கு ஜூன் 19 ல் கடிதம் எழுதினோம்; பதில் இல்லை. பின், தினமும் 3 லாரிகளில் வினியோகித்தனர். இங்கு போர்வெல்களில் நிலத்தடி நீர், அதலபாதாளத்திற்கு சென்று விட்டது, என குறிப்பிட்டார்.

மனுவை, தானாக முன்வந்து விசாரணைக்கு (சூமோட்டோ) ஏற்ற நீதிபதிகள்,"மாநகராட்சி சார்பில், ஐகோர்ட்டிற்கு தினமும் 8 லோடு, லாரிகள் மூலம் தண்ணீர் வினியோகிக்க வேண்டும்.

3 நாட்களுக்கு ஒருமுறை, மாநகராட்சி சார்பில் அறிக்கை தாக்கல் செய்ய வேண்டும். 

விசாரணை ஜூலை 17 க்கு தள்ளிவைக்கப்படுகிறது,' என்றனர்.
